Save Email as PDF terms of service

1. Accepting these terms

By installing, authorising or using Save Email as PDF, you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you use the add-on for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for that organisation.

2. What the service does

Save Email as PDF is a Google Workspace add-on for user-requested Gmail workflows. It can prepare print output, PDFs, original attachment downloads and ZIP files from one open email or a conversation, and can save finished files to a computer folder, Google Drive folder, or both.

3. Accounts and permissions

You must use a valid Google account and grant the permissions needed for the features you choose. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for using the correct account when opening private results or saving to Google Drive. An organisation administrator may restrict or disable add-ons or Google Drive access.

4. Your content and outputs

You keep ownership of your emails, attachments and generated outputs. You give engineIT a limited right to process them only to provide the action you requested, secure the service, diagnose failures and meet legal obligations. You are responsible for checking each output before relying on it.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, bypass access controls, distribute malware, overload or probe the service, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or process information you are not authorised to access. You must follow workplace, privacy, records and confidentiality rules that apply to your use.

6. Google Drive and computer destinations

You are responsible for choosing a destination you are allowed to use. Files saved to your computer or Google Drive remain under your control. Save Email as PDF does not make Drive files public or manage organisation-wide sharing permissions. If a selected destination becomes unavailable, the service may ask you to choose another location or use the browser Downloads folder.

7. Third-party services

The add-on depends on Gmail, Google Workspace, Google Cloud, Google Drive, Supabase, your browser, network connections and other third-party systems. Their availability, policies and technical changes may affect the service. engineIT is not affiliated with Google.

8. Availability and changes

engineIT may improve, change, suspend or discontinue features. The service may sometimes be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, security events, quotas, browser changes or Google platform changes. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Price

The current single-email actions are free. engineIT may introduce optional paid plans or team features later. Any price, billing period and cancellation terms will be shown before a purchase. No paid subscription is created merely by using the current free actions.

10. Support

Support instructions are available on the Save Email as PDF support page. Include the reference ID shown by the add-on when reporting an error, but do not email confidential message content, passwords, access tokens or full attachments unless support specifically requests a safe sample.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service, uninstall it, revoke Google access or request deletion of engineIT account data at any time. engineIT may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law or address a serious breach of these terms.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” engineIT does not promise that every email design, remote image, attachment type, legal record requirement or third-party system will work perfectly. You must review PDFs, print output, attachments, ZIP contents, file names, dates, recipients and storage locations before relying on them.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, engineIT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, lost business opportunity, or loss caused by third-party services, user settings or unauthorised use. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
